Fantastic and top-notch service provided.

Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Service I had a fantastic experience at this hotel, largely thanks to Ingvar, the owner. He was incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout our stay, ensuring that all our needs were met. His willingness to compromise and go the extra mile made a huge difference in our overall experience. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the location was ideal. A confortable place to stay in Ukulhas

The hotel is big compared to the size of the island, which is very nice because is fully equipped. The staff is so friendly and Ula was a very helpful, she recommend me the Manta Safari which was amazing. The rooms was very cleaning such as the common areas of the hotel. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the Bikini Beach is right in front the hotel. The view from the pool was stunning. I really recommend this place and I defo will be back there to find the Whale Shark!

Best staff, place and experience. Would recommend without giving it a second thought

Everything! To say that this was the best week of my life is an understatement. I’d like to specially thank Ula and Ingvar for making me feel welcome and comfortable. The location is amazing, facilities were lovely and everyone extremely caring. The fact that you could just pick up a snorkel and run to the beach for a quick dive is also an added plus.

Nordics managed hotel in Maldives - you are covered !

It was our first visit to Maldives and we did not wanted any surprise. For 2 weeks. Ukulhas Ranthari was best choice because of the owner (from Nordic), helpful staff, clean environment, rich breakfast, direct access to shore (just in front of main entrance), availability of snorkels, fins, sea shoes and other equipment for snorkeling and many other reasons. Staff is always helpful, and available at reception for any of your questions. They take your case induvidual and make sure that you get great value from it. And yes, having pool on top of building was the best part of kids since even in not good weathers they could enjoy the open air pool. Unlimited and always available hot water, tea and coffee (americano, espresso) is like coming from paradize. You always feel covered for your thirst. I will advice Ranthari to my friends planning to Maldives. If it is your first visit to Maldives, Ranthari is always great choice. If I visit Maldives again I will definitely spend a week at Ranthari.

It is hard to find something that I did not like. But here can be some comments to make Ranthari always on top. - Even do the variety at breakfast is great, variation could be improved. It was the same set of items every day. - Restaurant prices for dinner/lunch were above the average Island price for 30-50% in average. I wish that the difference is not that much. Other than those wishes nothing to address.

A nice location on the bikini beach.

Great views, beach is across the lane way and there are a number of restaurants close by.

Room was never cleaned or attended to, they make you pay for water and milk. The beach has a lot of coral and rocks, making it difficult to stand in the water.

We were greeted by the owner as soon as we arrived at the jetty. The hotel is situated close to the beach. Since we opted for all inclusive, the food was excellent. The staff and the owner are very friendly and customer service exceeded our expectation. You can snorkel at the beach and all equipments are available at the hotel. Ukulhas is a small local island and it was nice to walk around and be among the locals. Our room was amazing facing the beach. Highly recommend this hotel

Amazing hotel on beautifully island.

This hotel is definitely the best on the island. The owner Ingvar is such a nice man and his staff so polite and kind. Ula who is the manager is the most amazing person. Always there to help and such a kind sole. I only spent 5 days here but they but a lot of people were staying 14 days. I definitely recommend the sea view room with balcony. Amazing views.

11 out of 10! From the moment we arrived we felt that Ingvar and his team's priority was our well-being. We stayed for 5 days and our only regret was not extending our stay :-) The room was always perfectly clean and smelled of fresh lemon. Everyone was very friendly and helpful - no matter the issue. We enjoyed every meal at the hotel's own restaurant "Taste" and can recommend everyone to try the Chicken Curry and the Tuna Steak. All in all: anytime again!

Given the conditions of the island, the best hotel on Ukuhlas with great location!

Ingvar, the owner, and his staff are wonderful. They arranged our transfers to/from, met us at the port and were always kind and ready to help us sort out any query. They took us back to the boat for our departure, too. The hotel has a restaurant on the ground floor with a good menu for lunch and dinner, and breakfasts have enough - nothing "awesome". The spa has a wonderful massagist, Nastya. There is a small swimming pool at the terrase, which itself looked a bit out of maintenance and unattractive. We did not really used it, and I believe few people do since a bikini beach is right in front of the hotel. For rooms with ocean view they should be from at least the 2nd floor (better 3rd) since palm trees block the view from the windows/balconies.

They provide "clean" towels for the rooms and beach everyday. However, do not expect limpid white towels or bed sheets. In fact some of them looked old, yellowish and smelly. When we just arrived, our toilet did not look clean at all...as someone had used it before. But I called the reception and a staff member came to fix that. Edit: btw, the internet connection in our room (2nd floor) was poor. We could not rely on the quality of the internet to watch videos or have videocalls smoothly.

- Comfortable bed and pillows - They were communicative on Whatsapp about the boat - Nice pool and view from the rooftop - The room was cleaned daily - Good breakfast (eggs, bread, 2 fruit, chicken/beef bacon available, cereals) - Nice hosts (incl. Polish woman) picked us up from the ferry station, and gave info - always saying hello and being nice. - generally clean and close to everywhere - very friendly personel

- There is a complementary coffee machine at the hotel but these guys have in place some ridiculous policy that if you want a coffee with milk you need to pay like from the menu $5. So I drink usually an espresso/americano with a spoon of milk, and I politely asked for it and I was refused. When I asked why, they couldn’t explain and two local staff men started to stand by me and force me to order from the menu and it made me feel very uncomfortable. I tried to explain I don’t drink lattes or cappuccinos that require a lot of milk so I don’t want to pay $5 for a coffee from their overpriced menu, I just want half of the espresso cup filled with milk (which is provided for breakfast for free) but they just kept talking no sense so I gave up and because of this attitude we decided to not take any tours with them and never eat anything in the hotel. For a hotel that charges $120 per night it’s unbelievable to be greedy like this for a drop of milk it just made me feel uncomfortable. Just put a creamer next to it or a small jug of milk dont be greedy. - I went to the reception at 23:00 and called multiple times and nobody answered. I wanted to arrange a breakfast box as we were taking a last minute morning tour but sadly there was nobody to attend us. We ended up showing for breakfast and eating fast to make it for the tour. - There was sand on our bedsheet when we just checked in (under the pillows and on the whole length of the bed under the cover) and small stains on the bedsheet. Not a big issue though as it was smelling fresh. - Breakfast was the same everyday

Wonderful

A perfect location. A more luxury accommodation. We got only breakfasts included. It was OK for the hotel of this level, improvements in the end of our stay - you could just get most of your English breakfast components and fresh fruits yourself without ordering - much faster. A la carte dishes a bit more expansive. Very good coffee and tea thouh the whole day (but no milk to your free coffees - then you have to order it, not good for my girlfriend). Most of the time we have had our dinners other places - more local atmosphere. very good information on what to do on the island, where to go in which weather, organized manta snorkel was quite good too. Closed by is a Ocula bar - a very special place !! :-) indeed. We hope it will survive.

The perfect place to stay in the Maldives, the hotel was 100% suited for us. A spacious room with two bedrooms and a breathtaking view of the ocean, delicious food in the restaurant, an incredible reef perfect for snorkeling with children - we saw turtles and many colorful fish. Staff was very kind. Chicken sausage = curry wurst. Free snorkeling stuff. We could asked for washing our clothes. The best place we have so far been. Beach is very close. We tries out some restaurant on the island but the hotel's restaurant was the best. Planctoons are best in january.

With european eye it was strange but you had to get your clothes on while crossing the street from the hotel to the beach. But this is not the hotel's fault just a heads up.

Guaranteed a great stay.

Fantastic food, excursions are the experience of a life time, staff were amazing. Aircon also works well. Finally, the beach is brilliant for snorkelling and relaxing.

The WiFi isn't great, much like all the residents islands.

Lovely stay at Ranthari!

This was our first time in Ukulhas, and Ranthari Hotel made the experience even better! The hotel is right in front of the beach, offering stunning views. The food was excellent, and the facilities were top-notch especially the rooftop pool. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay!

We loved our stay at Ranthari, but there’s room for improvement, particularly with the soundproofing. We could clearly hear babies crying from nearby rooms, but I believe the management is working on this. Despite that, it was still a great experience!
